Jenell Pluim's
Code of Ethics

1. I hold myself accountable to the highest level of integrity, honoring Jesus Christ in all my associations with clients and colleagues.

2. I will maintain complete confidentiality with my clients within the confines of the law except when not to disclose information would cause harm to the client or to others.

3. I will be direct and clear with my clients about the nature of the coaching relationship, including structure, fees, refunds, and expectations.

4. I will give credit where credit is due for materials supplied by other sources, respecting copyrights, trademarks and intellectual property.

5. I will judiciously avoid conflicts of interest. If any should arise, I shall inform concerned parties of my position immediately.

6. I will represent myself honestly and clearly to my clients, and coach only within my areas of expertise.

7. I will refer a client to another coach if I am not within my area of expertise or comfort, so the client gets the best possible coaching.

8. I will respect the client’s right to terminate coaching at any point during the process.

9. I will be compassionate and graceful to all seeking Christian life coaching.

10. I will support people in their own faith journey, rather than impose my religious practice.

11. I will demonstrate unconditional acceptance and love toward clients and of their standards, beliefs, attitudes and actions.

12. I will speak truth in love and relate in a way that affirms my Christian values and Scripture.

13. I will actively pursue health and wholeness in my own life, as well as continuing education and professional development.

14. I will adhere to my Christian values in my professional conduct, never dishonoring the name of Christ.
